The second type of temporary bridge Logistic Support Bridge (LSB) on the Rio das Velhas was completed on Thursday (16) in BR-381, in Sabara, in the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte. About 130 military "Pontoneiros Engineering Army Combat" worked on the installation of bridges and were used 12 trucks, three bulldozers, two cranes, two buses and over 100 tons of equipment.
The Federal Highway Police (PRF) will control the traffic and will make DNIT signaling, marking and lighting of bridges. The Army will keep on-site staff to carry out maintenance of the structure of bridges and security of military equipment.
